Founded in 1999 in one of Argentina’s best renowned regions – Luján de Cuyo in the north of Mendoza – Cheval des Andes spans an exceptional area of Malbec vines spanning 50 hectares, some of which are 80 years old. This unique terroir, located in the foothills of the Andes cordillera, gives rise to the production of an intense, expressive and refined Andes grand cru. Each grape variety is planted in a carefully-selected terroir so that it can reveal its full potential. Through the expression of five grape varieties: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, Cheval des Andes symbolizes the perfect synergy between the French art of blending and New World creative innovation.

Cheval des Andes 2010 is made from a unique blend of three grape varieties: malbec, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot. Each hand-picked grape is fermented in oak barrels for 18 months before being blended. This vintage is defined by its aromatic complexity and elegant tannins; a subtle combination of freshness, balance and ripeness.

2020五大联赛开赛时间” For us, as agronomists and oenologists, Cheval des Andes means high-precision work on a daily basis as we strive to balance our local appreciation for complex, generous and fruity wines with the search for the finest elegance, freshness and longevity that is the Cheval Blanc style. The result is unique; time will go on to reveal vintages that can be called New World grand crus.  The initial challenge of making fine wines in Mendoza has been successfully met! “

2020五大联赛开赛时间The cornerstone of the heritage of Cheval des Andes, respect for the environment is firmly anchored in the estate’s savoir-faire. The vines are naturally irrigated using a system of furrows which collects pure water from the mountains, as local producers traditionally did in the past: an example of the reasonable and responsible use of the rare natural resources available to us. These practices, intrinsically linked to the estate’s philosophy, aim to reach the most perfect balance between vine growing, soil preservation and the fragile ecosystem of the estate’s mountains.

As the inheritors of the adventurous spirit favored by the gaucho of Patagonia, the estate of Cheval des Andes enhance the evasion atmosphere within a stunning landscape. This exceptional “art de vivre” is tangible in every single parcel of land owned by the House: the vineyard area also features a typical vine loft, nestled in the foothills of the Andes mountain range. This estate represents both the Argentinean exploration tradition and the estate’s pioneering spirit.
